Throughout the years we've had offices and popup shops in various locations. We've sold through various boutiques and online shops. Now we are set to open our full retail store which will also function as an art gallery. We were contemplating on moving the shop to a bigger city, but ultimately we decided that it should stay here in the city where the brand was created. In doing so we hope to create, help, and contribute to growing the arts community in the Woonsocket area.  Woonsocket is an old New England city with a lot of history. Our new space is an historic building from the late 1800s with a secret bank vault in the basement as well as bunch of other cool little details here and there. We hope to see everyone come out and celebrate the new shop opening.

So i found this photo in my phone and I had to blog about this. I had this the other day at OV's in Providence RI. Nice little breakfast eatery right off the highway. It was too good not to take a pic of, eggs, home fries, italian sausages with biscuits and gravy.  Late morning breakfast with my friend Chris Peralta who owns Front Row Eats, the number 1 food blog around the area, he knows all the best eatery around.

GOOD VOODOO BASTARDS

We have decided to get together with our friends over at GooDVooDoo Tattoo to create a concept pop up shop , whatever you want to call it. We are currently in renovations and buildout process but once done it will be something pretty awesome to behold on the eyes. It's not a separate entity where there's a tattoo shop and a clothing store, we wanted to blend and mix the two together with a mix of an art gallery thrown in. That being said, just come check it out on December 23rd, party starts at 4pm with complimentary refreshments being served. Once again thank you for the love and support, we want to end the 2011 strong and with a bash. Come out and have some fun and see what offerings we will have.

So I scrapped this idea I had a few months back to make wooden accessories such as necklaces, bracelets, keychains etc.

I might want to bring it back and work on that idea some more, as a limited run.

Mitchell Grey at Northeastern University

Thyline aka Mitchell Grey's number 1 fan with Joseph, Napon, Ryan and Matt. Can you see the joy and redness on her face.

Thyline and Andrew Kim! He honestly put on a great show by himself too and Thyline, still red.

I recently became a fan of some great new music, a band called Mitchell Grey. I first heard of them when Thyline kept mentioning them so i had to check out what's up. They were in Boston along with Andrew Kim to perform at a charity event for NU so we defintely had to drive up to check them out live. After seeing them live i became a bigger fan, I just dig quality live music, these guys put on a great performance. They also gave a shoutout to Thyline before one of their songs which made her so red and happy she didn't know what to do with herself.  Really cool genuine dudes from NY. These guys are making moves and noises in the music world and I believe they are destined to blow up in the near future. We plan on having our 2 year anniversary party next year and i definitely want them on the bill.

Apologies for the brief blog hiatus

As everyone probably have noticed it's been quite sometime since my last blog post. I want to apologize for that, i think some think we're dead. We've just been going through a bunch of different changes and things have been hectic around the office here at LBCO headquarters. I just wanted to quickly share with everyone what has been going around here. First, we decided to end our Pop-Up shop in this location in RI. As many know a Pop-Up Shop is supposed to be only temporarily, we never really intended to have this retail space for that long,  I think over a year is good for this space. Where will you see us "pop up" next? Can't say. Also we've been working on some holiday stuff and will be available soon as we expand our wholesale distribution. LBCO has slowly evolved into a part clothing part design firm just as i intended when i first started the company. It has steadily grew into exactly what I had envisioned, but there's still work to be done. So onto the next ventures for LBCO as I will continue to keep everyone posted on what's coming up in the near future for us.  With all that I didn't have much time to blog, but  I'm back on the blogness. Thanks and shout out to the crazy girl who posed for this pic you see in front of our logo. haha
